The app is kept alive in the background so that the app can receive outside calls and intercom calls, which results in battery consumption.

In general the products do their function, the app could use some improvements, on their GUI and it would be great if it was part of the Apple HomeKit. The phone should let people have two way calls when away from the wifi.
The camera recording list does NOT have any preview or thumbnail pictures so its really difficult to go through the footage quickly because for each recording youll have to spend at least 30secs downloading the video file before you can watch it. Itll take forever if you need to find something without knowing the exact time stamp.
Nice looking hardware. The software just flat out does not work most of the time.
Remote access is not working at all. The device could not discover UPNP in my router while all my other devices have no issues with my modem. I have tried port forwarding and it does not work as well. This application is very slow and pointless.
1 star because it barely functions correctly. Other times it stays on the loading screen, nothing is selectable, voicemails cant be deleted... Horrible. I wish I could return my Panasonic cameras. I do not recommend anyone to buy any Panasonic product that relies on this app.
